有天才味觉的小女生林可颂，喜欢着自己的同学宋意然并追到了上海，意外之中认识了米其林三星主厨江千帆。江千帆收了林可颂为徒并传授她厨艺，还一起准备参加三个月以后的厨艺大赛。林可颂虽然有着天才味觉，但是对厨艺是一窍不通。经过江千帆魔鬼般的训练和创新，林可颂居然有了自己一套特殊的厨艺技巧，并且她在这个过程中也渐渐的找到了自信，成为了更好的自己。在这个过程中宋意然也渐渐的对林可颂产生了爱情，而江千帆也恢复了味觉。最终在厨艺大赛上，林可颂一举夺魁，在爱情上则最终与江千帆修成正果。
