　　影片由六段相互独立又彼此相关的爱之故事组成，描写了六对来自不同背景、有着不同经历的男女，在一个星期内度过的最美时光。
　　第一个故事是关于夕阳之爱，第二个故事则讲述了贫苦夫妻间的爱情故事，第三个故事是关于父女之间的爱的故事，第四个故事描绘了父子之间的爱和同性男人之间的情感，第五个故事则围绕一个大龄单身男警察与成熟离异女医生之间展开，第六个故事刻画了一个修女与一个知名流行歌手之间的爱情故事。六段独特的故事彼此穿插交织，又各自独立完整。在爱的世界中，生活正在一如既往的前行，酸甜苦辣，尽在其中。

　　Lorie Walker (Meagan Good) is a small town girl whose dreams of becoming a dancer come true when she finds fame as a Hip Hop music video star. But when her new career leads her down a dangerous path, she realizes that life in front of the camera is not as glamorous as it seems.

本部黑白短片讲述一对儿新婚燕尔的小夫妻，在一个星期里搭建他们的“便携式新房”的温馨小故事。九号礼拜一：他们开始按序号搭建这座“便携式新房”，可惜弄错了号码；十号礼拜二：七扭八歪极具后现代主义的新房初具规模；往后的几天里，在搭建屋内的过程中，更是发生了诸多意想不到的小插曲；十三号礼拜五，他们终于如期完成了房子的搭建，大摆筵席，可是突如其来的风波，又将如何上演，最后是否会是happy ending呢？

　　弗兰克（休·杰克曼 Hugh Jackman 饰）是美国纽约州长岛公立学校的负责人，在他和同事帕姆（阿丽森·詹尼 Allison Janney 饰）的努力之下，纽约罗斯林学区的升学率得到了全美排名第四的好成绩。弗兰克的出名不仅让学校变得炙手可热，同时也带动了学校周边的学区房房价一路上涨。
　　瑞秋（杰拉尔丁·维斯瓦纳森 Geraldine Viswanathan 饰）是罗斯林高中的一名学生，某日，在撰写校刊报道时，她震惊的发现学校的账目漏洞百出，不仅仅是校长，学校的整个领导阶层都在肆意的挪用着董事会的拨款，去满足他们无限膨胀的物欲。随着调查的深入，一场涉案金额极高、涉事人员众多的贪污案浮出了水面。

　　著名导演贝特朗·博内洛Bertrand Bonello是个司汤达综合症的受害者，正筹划他的下一部电影。化蛹为蝶的变态渐进过程，作为一个梦常常萦绕在他的脑海，因为几记红印出现在他的后背。经艺术史家们的引导，使他开始了陌生研究和充满激情的讨论。他试图搜索不可思议的图像，作为他电影作品的一个个元素。

　　A drunken newspaperman is rescued from his alcoholic haze by an heiress whose love sobers him up and encourages him to write a play, but he lapses back into dipsomania.

　　A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
　　What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

　　故事发生在一座位于俄亥俄州中的小镇之内，丹琪（薇诺娜·瑞德 Winona Ryder 饰）是出生在这里的一位非常叛逆的少女，丹琪的父母很早就离开了她，她由养父母一手拉扯长大。某日，好莱坞大明星洛克西（卡拉·古奇诺 Carla Gugino 饰）将要衣锦还乡的消息传遍了小镇上下，洛克西就是从这个小镇里走出去的，全镇的人都等待着想要一睹这位大明星的风采。
　　对于丹琪来说，洛克西的回归还有着另外的一层重要意义，她一直怀疑自己是她的私生女。丹琪四处打听，想要得到确切的证据，然而她的养父母对此并不知情，洛克西曾经的情人丹顿（杰夫·丹尼尔斯 Jeff Daniels 饰）对这件事也三缄其口。丹琪决定离家出走，在半途上拦截洛克西，问个清楚。

　　When William Gridley arrives from the US in London, he rents part of Carly Hardwicke's house from her and promptly begins to fall in love. Gridley doesn't know that many people think she killed her husband but his boss, the American ambassador, knows and doesn't take this "lapse of judgement" lightly. Since Carly is also American, Gridley saves his job by introducing her to the ambassador, who is promptly smitten and promises to help her. So when a Scotland Yard detective arrives, wanting to get to the truth one way or another, they say they'll help him. And then the comedic complications really begin.

　　故事发生在1997年的巴黎，卡蜜尔（阿涅丝·夏薇依 Agnès Jaoui 饰）是一名风风火火的热情女子，她不仅当着兼职导游、正在撰写毕业论文，与此同时，她还揽下了帮助姐姐奥戴尔（萨宾·阿泽玛 Sabine Azéma 饰）寻找新房子的责任。一次偶然中，卡蜜尔撞见了默默流泪的男子马克（朗贝尔·维尔森 Lambert Wilson 饰），马克的眼泪让卡蜜尔怦然心动，巧合的是，马克正好是一名房产销售员。
　　漂亮的卡蜜尔身边不乏追求者，西蒙（安德烈·杜索里埃 André Dussollier 饰）就是其中的一员，然而，尽管他创造了很多和卡蜜尔接触的机会，但卡蜜尔对于他的殷勤似乎视而不见。一幢豪华公寓将这一干人等联系到了一起，摩擦出了灿烂的火花。
