　　本剧集分为《连城》、《侠女》、《辛十四娘》、《宦娘》四个篇章组成，通过几位奇女子富有传奇色彩的命运，讲述了四段凄美动人的奇幻故事。《连城》讲述书香世家之后连城（范文芳饰）与穷书生乔生（吴奇隆饰）之间的凄美爱情故事；《侠女》讲述侠女（林家宇饰）与顾相如（陈晓东饰）间的爱恨 情仇；《辛十四娘》则讲述了一段狐仙辛十四娘（刘诗诗饰）与凡人冯生（TAE饰）间感天动地的人狐之恋；《宦娘》讲述千金小姐赵宦娘（孙莉饰）与当红小生温如春（潘粤明饰）因父母不同意而决定双双殉情的悲情故事。
　　38集古装爱情电视剧《聊斋奇女子》取材于古典名著《聊斋志异》，由吴奇隆、范文芳、瞿颖、潘粤明、孙莉、陈晓东、刘诗诗、TAE、李倩等倾情演绎。

　　故事发生在陕西关中地区。随着深夜的一声爆炸，古墓被炸开，引来了蜂涌而至哄抢的村民，杨乖娃私藏一只编钟，他想借机倒卖出去，不料引来杀身之祸，其女杨秀为完成父亲遗愿，变成一个冷峻妖冶的盗墓贼。文侦队长秦安平负责文物的侦破工作，通过调查得知，文化局的宋若虚是本地最大文物走私盗墓团伙的头目，秦安平与其展开了正义与邪恶的较量，丧心病狂的宋若虚竟以秦安平儿子的生命相威胁。顶风作案的宋若虚终于进入藏宝密室，发现了价值连城的秦王尊......
