人类与生俱来只有一双耳，一双眼，能见能看的，有限之极。基于人与人之间的不信任，俗称“天眼”的闭路电视系统因而诞生，替代人类无时无刻，无边无际的监视。久而久之，人对人心更加存疑，对天眼深信不疑，却从未想到，对人类最忠实的天眼，把人与人之间那所剩无几的互信加以践踏。当你以为天眼最可信，到最终却为天眼所陷害时，你会否迷失。该剧讲述司徒舜因涉嫌一宗纵火案离开了警队转投保安公司后与郑力行成为同事，两人渐渐成为好朋友。直至拥有天眼的私家侦探吴珍妮出现，两人一起追查昔日一宗纵火案。在接近真相之际，情与法的矛盾日渐激化，三人的感情关系出现巨大变化。
