　　这部电影将是一个“完整版”，浓缩了首季13集及5集特别篇，再加入了新片段制作而成。

　　餐厅经理Jill（林嘉欣 饰）一直是志安（胡兵 饰）的后备情人，Jill为了爱情，只好默默守在志安的身边。Jill的合伙人Jason（曾志伟 饰）快要退休，找来了厨师Jack（郑伊健 饰）接班。刚开始Jill对这位新合伙人好感不大，认为他也叫自己的爱人伤心。但经过了解才知道，原来Jack的女友Grace（陈文媛 饰）也跟志安一样一脚踏两船，Jack跟Jill一样都是后备情人。

　　Cabella Oil and Brandini's have been competing oil ranches for decades. However, it wasn't always this way. 　　新上任的科技推广员赵来福，老实巴交，心地善良，文化水平不高，却倔劲十足，醉心推广科技知识，致力带领村民科技致富。为宣传科技知识，来福无所不用其能，他卖力提醒村民们要用科技含量高的方法防虫治害，不经意和专卖化肥农药的成亮结下了梁子。成亮对守寡多年的养鸡专业户马大姐早生情愫经常献殷勤，却总被热心助人的来福搅了好事，不免心生怨恨。时值马大姐发现同为养鸡的王三利家用水大有文章，来福夜探王三利家，差点溺毙水缸中，但终得谜底——水建康活水器。
　　来福大张旗鼓开始宣传水建康，却不被大家接受。不甘认输的他见缝插针，功夫不负有心人总算有了收效。不愿善罢甘休的成亮，不仅处处和来福做对搅合他推销水健康，还故意把来福和马大姐的事扭曲，透露给性情耿直的赵妻。赵妻的疑惑在成亮的点火煽风下终于扩大，和来福闹起了离婚。本来初见希望来福很是高兴但后院的起火也让他气愤不已。就在这时使用水建康的鱼塘鱼苗大批死亡，经过艰难取证，证实系化工厂排放的污水所致。来福坚持看守排污口，悄然发现成亮也默默守在这里。因为阻止污水排放，来福招来报复车毁人伤。赵妻看到来福的执着，从慢慢理解到默默支持。没有畏惧的来福，组织起村民到化工厂抗议，壮观的场面让年轻的韩厂长动容。
　　为救猪场的的实验猪来福奋不顾身跳进水里，差点丧命住进了医院，但他的努力终于得到了大家的认可。经历了诸多磨难，来福的宣传之路越走越顺，他的科技兴农之梦指日可待。
